There are a few reasons carpets will tend to break down. Thats because of soil that is tracked in. We all need to take the time to vacuum the floors on a regular basis. Vacuuming is the most important factor when wanting to extend the life of your carpet. The more you vacuum the better and the longer your carpets will last. We all walk on our carpets daily so we should vacuum daily. We track in dirt and soils from the ouside world and bring them right into our homes or offices. The soil will start to tear down the fibers of the carpet. We then walk on the soil and destroy our carpet fibers then the carpet will no longer reflect lighting and will start to look dull or even break down the stain resistant features of the carpet.
